1. Overview
InTrack is a personal habit and behavior tracking app for Android. It allows users to create trackers, log progress, view streaks, review completion rates, use calendar history, set reminders, import and export backups, and optionally protect the app with a PIN.
InTrack is designed to work locally on your device. The app does not require an account, does not use cloud storage, does not run a server, and does not transmit your habit or tracking data off your device.
2. Information InTrack Stores
InTrack stores the information you enter into the app, including:
- Tracker names
- Tracker settings and goals
- Habit or behavior log entries
- Notes entered into logs, if any
- Streak and completion history calculated from your logs
- Calendar history
- Frozen tracker status
- App preferences
- Optional PIN lock setting
- Notification reminder settings
- Export/import backup data when you choose to create or restore a backup
This information is stored locally on your device using Android local storage, including a Room database and SharedPreferences.
3. Information InTrack Collects or Transmits
InTrack does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal habit or tracking data.
InTrack does not collect or transmit:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Location
- Contacts
- Photos or videos
- Camera data
- Microphone data
- Health data
- Financial information
- Advertising identifiers
- Device identifiers for tracking
- Analytics data
- Crash analytics
- Usage analytics
4. Local-Only Data Storage
All habit and tracking data created in InTrack remains on your device unless you personally choose to export or share it.
If you use the export feature, InTrack creates a backup or export file containing your tracker and log data. You are responsible for where you save, send, upload, or store that exported file.
If you import a backup file, InTrack reads the file you select and restores the data into the app’s local database.
5. Notifications
InTrack may use local Android notifications to remind you about trackers or habits.
These notifications are generated locally on your device. InTrack does not send notification data to any external server.
6. Optional PIN Lock
InTrack may allow you to enable a PIN lock to help restrict casual access to the app on your device.
The PIN setting is stored locally. InTrack does not send your PIN to any server. You are responsible for keeping your device secure.
7. Third-Party Services
InTrack does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, tracking SDKs, or cloud services.
InTrack does not share your personal habit or tracking data with third parties.
Optional purchases, such as an InTrack Plus unlock, may be processed through Google Play Billing. Google Play handles payment processing according to Google's own terms and privacy policy. InTrack does not store payment card information.
8. Advertising
InTrack does not display ads.
InTrack does not use advertising identifiers.
InTrack does not track you across apps or websites.
9. In-App Purchases and Plus Unlock
InTrack may offer an optional Plus unlock through Google Play Billing. Plus features are optional; core habit tracking does not require an account.
Payment processing is handled by Google Play. InTrack does not store payment card information. Purchase status may be checked through Google Play Billing so the app can unlock purchased features.
10. Children’s Privacy
InTrack is not specifically directed toward children.
InTrack does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because InTrack does not transmit user habit or tracking data off device, the app does not knowingly send children’s habit or tracking data to the developer.
11. Data Deletion
Because InTrack stores data locally on your device, you can delete your data by:
- Deleting trackers or logs inside the app, if supported
- Clearing the app’s storage through Android system settings
- Uninstalling the app
If you created exported backup files, deleting the app will not automatically delete those external backup files. You must delete those files yourself from wherever you saved them.
12. Data Security
InTrack is designed to minimize privacy risk by keeping user data local to your device.
No method of local storage is perfectly secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, device lock screen, exported backup files, and any locations where you choose to store backup data.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
If the policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the public privacy policy URL used for the app listing. The effective date will be updated when changes are made.
